Question: How can I take part in the World Grain Forum 2009?

Answer: You may register on the official web site of the Forum: http://www.grain-forum.com. Your application form will be sent to The Forum Organizational committee of the Forum. In case of confirmation you will receive e-copy of your invitation with personal login and password in order to use “Personal web-office”. For registration you should do following things:

1. Enter “Application for participation”
2. Step by step fill in all the fields from the first page of the application form
3. Click “Next” for passing to the second page. Using this instruction you reach the last page. Pay attention that the information which you type with Latin letters will be printed on your badge in English and will have an important significance for successful participation during the Forum
4. Click “Finish”

Question: What should I do after getting e-invitation?

Answer: You should enter personal web-office using your login and password on the web site of the Forum.

“Personal web-office” – is an individual participant’s page in the protected zone on the web-site of the Forum where you can pay your participation and use different Forum services. For entering to your personal web-office you should proceed to the respective section of the web-site and fill in your login and password that you received in a cover letter with the invitation.

In a participant’s “Personal web-office” following opportunities are available:

·        Input of necessary information for accreditation

·        Registration of an assistant/accompanying person

·        Participation payment, filling in a contract

·        Application form for the registration of  personal car and driver

·        Booking of transport services

·        Hotel booking

Question: How can I book the hotel?

Answer: For hotel rooms booking in Saint Petersburg for special prices that are offered for the World Grain Forum participants you should fill in an application form in “Personal web-office”.   The manager of booking department will contact you as soon as you fill in an application form and he will offer you prices and room categories in the chosen hotel.

Question: How can I get to the hotel and the Forum hall?

Answer: Taxi is at your disposal in the airport “Pulkovo 1”, “Pulkovo 2”, at the railway stations and near the hotels in Saint Petersburg. You can also use public transport. Address: Nalichnaya street, 6. The nearest metro station is “Primorskaya”.

Besides, you can book a transfer from the airport/to the airport by the means of you “personal web-office”. You should fill in a booking form and send it to the organizers.

From the 6^th to the 7^th of June there are shuttle transfers between the Forum hall and the hotels. You’ll be able to find out the exact information about shuttle timetable and exact places of shuttle stops in the section “Transport provision services” on the Forum web site from 20.05.09.

Question: What types of participation are there in the World Grain Forum 2009?

Answer: There are 8 types of participation in the World Grain Forum 2009. Detailed information you can get in the section “Participation costs”.

Question: What official persons will be present at the Forum?

Answer: Russian President, presidents of a number of countries, ministers of agriculture from these countries, leaders of international organizations, heads of regional and federal jurisdictions.

Question: Can my participation be denied?

Answer: Yes, according to the decision of the Organizational committee your participation can be denied. In this case you’ll get the information about it on your e-mail.

Question: How can we find out whether we will be able to take part in the plenary meeting where the president will speak?

Answer: That depends on the type of your participation. Detailed information you can find in the section “Participation costs”.

Question: How soon after the registration we will get participation confirmation from the Organizational committee?

Answer: Usually this procedure takes one working day.

Question: What are possible reasons of denial? Who can I ask about that?

Answer: The Organizational committee has a right to refuse without explanation.

Question: If the leader of the company can’t take part in the Forum can his deputy take part instead of him? How should we fill in his registration form? If the participant can’t take part because of private reasons can another worker from this company take part in the Forum?

Answer: Yes, in this case it is necessary that this worker who will take part in the Forum filled in an application form.

Question: Should I send a photo? When I should send participants’ photos for badges?

Answer: Yes, participant uploads a photo in the “Personal web-office”. It is not allowed to attend the event without personal photo.

Demands to a photo:

- Color JPEG format

- 3x4 proportion

- Not less than 480x640

- You should be taken full face, without hat

- Your face should take not less than 70% of the photo.

Question: Is it possible to come with personal security? What statues do bodyguards have? Will bodyguards be able to be present on the territory of the Forum?

Answer: It is not allowed to be present on the territory of the Forum with weapon. You may register your bodyguard as “Lux participation”. In case of confirmation by the Organizational committee he will get an access to the Forum.

Question: What participant can be “Lux delegates”?

Answer: Lux delegate – husband/wife or another person who accompanies a participant of the business program during the trip to the Forum (secretary, interpreter, bodyguard without weapon).

Question: How many Lux delegates can I register? Will everybody be registered by the Organizational committee?

Answer: Participant can register one Lux delegate, more delegates should be approved of by the Organizational committee.

Question: How can I pay participation?

Answer: Payment on account only. After registration on the web site and after confirmation of you participation by the Organizational committee in the “Personal web-office” you’ll get an account.

Question: Are there any discounts if there are several representatives from one company? Are there any discounts?

Answer: In this case there are no discounts.

Question: How can I become a Partner (Sponsor) of the Forum?

Question: Do the participants from a Partner of the Forum have the same status like the participants of the official Forum program?

Answer: Yes, participants from the Forum Partners have VIP and LUX statuses and they have a free access to the Forum.

Question: How can I take part in the coverage of the World Grain Forum events?

Answer: Only the representatives of Mass-Media can cover the events of the World Grain Forum program. They also should fill in an application form in the section “Application for Mass-Media” and get a confirmation from the Organizational committee.

Question: What is the final date when Mass-Media representatives can register?

Answer: You can register till 20.05.2009

Question: How many representatives from one Mass-Media company can register?

Answer: Not more than 5 representatives can register from one company. More participants should be approved by the Organizational committee.

Question: What events of the official business program can I attend as a Mass-Media representative?

Answer: That depends on the means of accreditation for Mass-Media representatives. All the information is in the section “Participation costs”.

Question: When can I get login and password for the access to “Personal web-office” if I’m a Media representative?

Answer: Login and password for “Personal web-office” will be sent on you e-mail that you wrote in your application form if the committee approves of your participation.

Question: Is accommodation included in the participation cost of the WGF?

Answer: No, it is not included.

Question: Can I book hotel rooms for our delegation in one hotel so that they were together?

Answer: There is such opportunity but only in case of free rooms in your hotel. The organizers can’t guarantee enough amount of rooms in one hotel for all delegation representatives.

Question: Are there shuttle transfers from the hotels to the territory of the Forum?

Answer: Yes, there shuttle buses but only from the basic hotels of the city. The timetable will appear on our web site soon.

Question: How can driver with car can enter the Forum territory?

Answer: The participant should accredit his car and his driver before the World Grain Forum starts by filling in a form. You’ll be able to find these forms on the web site in “Personal web-office”. Parking places will be in the Green zone of the Forum.

Question: Should I accredit transport that I booked in “Personal web-office”?

Answer: No. The Organizers will do it instead of you.

Question: Will there be lunches or coffee brakes during the Forum? Are they free or for money?

Answer: On the 6^th of June there will be honored reception for all the participants, on the 7^th – supper in the 5^th pavilion of Lenekspo. There will be snack machines on the whole territory of the Forum. All the services concerning food are free.
